Welcome to the Reading Group for Cognitive And Computational approaches to Language
Spring 2012: meetings are
Tues 3:30 in Oxley 24

CaCL

CaCL is a reading and discussion group for researchers interested in the role of computation and cognition in linguistics.

We are a diverse group from all branches of linguistics and many related fields, and we look at modeling cognitive architectures and linguistic perception and production from many perspectives. We read and discuss a different article each week, whose topics range from conceptualizing a modeling problem to fully implemented Bayesian modeling, applying these concepts to a range of language problems, from syntax and semantics to phonemic variation.
