The 13th Annual Mid-Continental Workshop on Phonology (MCWOP) will be held at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, on October 26-28, 2007.

Sessions will begin on Friday afternoon and conclude at noon on Sunday and will include a special session on First and Second Language Phonological Acquisition. The MCWOP party will be held on Saturday evening.

NEWS:
4/23/07: The Call for Papers has been released. We are currently accepting abstracts for 20 minute talks on all topics in theoretical, descriptive, and experimental phonology and phonetics. We invite submissions for the regular session and the special session on First and Second Language Phonological Acquisition. Students are especially encouraged to submit abstracts on work in progress. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, September 14.

7/2/07: Registration information is now available. Pre-registration fees are $5 for students and $15 for faculty and post-docs. The early registration deadline is Friday, October 19.

7/2/07: Travel and accommodation information is now available. The hotel reservation deadline to receive the conference rate is Thursday, October 4.

10/17/07: MCWOP will be held on campus at the Ohio State University in Hitchcock Hall. The first session will begin on Friday, October 26 at 2pm in Hitchcock Hall 035. Registration will be available outside Hitchcock Hall 035 beginning at 1:30pm on Friday.
